Investigation group on Andijan events condemns UNHCR for violating international norms

"An investigation group of Andijan Regional prosecutor's office is currently carrying out investigation in relation to them [those five Uzbek citizens who had been handed over by the Kyrgyz authorities to Uzbekistan that were accused of carrying out acts of terrorism in Andijan] on a criminal case that was brought on Articles 155, part 3, paragraph a, b (terrorism, death of man and other heavy consequences), 159, part 3, paragraph b (encroachment on the constitutional system, organized by a group or in its interests) 242, part 2 (the setting up of organized armed group), and also on a number of other articles of the Criminal Code of the republic", the Press-uz.info news agency was told by a source in the General Procurator's office of Uzbekistan on Monday [14 August].* >>>
